Jim Martin – Chief Financial Officer

• Jim Martin formerly served as our Controller from July 2010 to December 2010; Former Controller of AAR Aircraft Services–Miami a subsidiary of AAR Corp, an aerospace and defense company; Former Controller of Avborne Heavy Maintenance; Also served 5 years in the United States Navy. In addition to serving as SafeStitch's Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Martin serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Non-Invasive Monitoring Systems, Inc., a publicly-held medical device company and Vice President of Finance of Aero Pharmaceuticals, Inc. ("Aero"), a privately held pharmaceutical distributor.

Charles J. Filipi M.D. – Chief Medical Director

• Founder and Director of SafeStitch Medical, Inc.; Professor of Surgery at Creighton University School of Medicine; Former President of the American Hernia Society; Fellow of the American College of Surgeons; Pioneer of laparoscopic antireflux and hernia surgery.

Joshua B. Weingard – Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary

• Joshua Weingard, has served as our Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary since December 2009. Mr. Weingard also serves as the Chief Legal Officer of Non-Invasive Monitoring Systems, Inc. and Cardo Medical, Inc., and as Corporate Counsel for SearchMedia Holdings Limited. From 2006 through 2009, Mr. Weingard served as the EVP and Chief Legal Officer of NationsHealth, Inc. From 2002 through 2006, Mr. Weingard served as corporate and securities counsel at Andrx Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Weingard was an attorney in the Miami office of Broad and Cassel.
